🌐 Network Setup & Configuration

Building a network from scratch or fixing a broken one? We handle the whole stack.

The Problem

You're moving into a new office or expanding your home office. You need a proper network—not just "plug in a router and hope." Or your existing network is a mess of random gear that barely works.

Most installers either oversell you enterprise gear you don't need, or set up cheap consumer stuff that'll fail in 6 months. We do neither.

How We Do It

We design and install networks that actually work—sized to your needs, built to last, and configured properly from day one:

  • Site assessment - We measure your space, identify coverage needs, plan cable runs
  • Equipment selection - Right gear for your use case (no upselling, no cheap junk)
  • Professional installation - Routers, switches, access points, cabling (if needed)
  • Network configuration - VLANs, guest networks, QoS, security hardening
  • Wi-Fi optimization - Channel planning, AP placement, interference mitigation
  • Testing and validation - Make sure everything works before we leave
  • Documentation - Network diagram, passwords, configuration notes

Timeline depends on project size—small office setups 1-2 days, simple home office networks done in a few hours.

Common Questions

Do I need a professional network setup or can I just buy a router?

For small offices or spaces with multiple users and devices, a proper setup saves you headaches. Dead zones, slow speeds, dropped connections—these all come from bad planning. A small home office or apartment with just a couple devices? Consumer router is probably fine.

What equipment do you recommend?

Depends on your needs. For offices: Ubiquiti UniFi, TP-Link Omada, or Cisco small business gear. For home offices: Ubiquiti, TP-Link Omada, or quality mesh systems. We don't push specific brands—we recommend what fits your budget and requirements.

Can you run Ethernet cables through walls?

Yes, if needed. We'll assess whether it makes sense (cost vs. benefit) or if wireless works fine. Most modern spaces do fine with well-placed access points, but structured cabling is an option for new builds or renovations.

Do you support the network after installation?

30 days of follow-up support is included (adjustments, troubleshooting, questions). After that, you can handle it yourself, call us as needed (break-fix rate), or move to a managed services plan.
